Text Messaging Terms of Use
By “Opting In” to or using the “Text Message Service” (as defined below) from Numat Technologies, Inc. (Numat), you accept these Text Messaging Terms of Use. This agreement is between you and Numat (or one of its applicable affiliates).
Definitions
“Opting In,” “Opt In,” and “Opt-In” refer to requesting, joining, agreeing to, enrolling in, signing up for, acknowledging, responding to, or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages.
“Text Message Service” includes any arrangement or situation in which we send one or more messages addressed to your mobile phone number, including text messages (such as SMS, MMS, or successor protocols or technologies).
Consenting to Text Messaging
By consenting to receiving text messages from us, you agree to these Text Messaging Terms and Conditions. In addition, the use of the Text Message Service by employees of Numat will be covered by the Numat Employee Handbook, the Numat’s Website Terms and Conditions (https://www.numat.com/terms-conditions) and Numat’s Privacy Policy (https://www.numat.com/privacy-policy), incorporated herein by reference, each as amended from time to time.
E-Sign Disclosure
By agreeing to receive text messages through the Text Message Service, you also consent to the use of an electronic record to document your agreement and consent to the Text Message Service. You may withdraw your consent to the use of the electronic record and/or the Text Message Service by replying STOP to these messages.
Numat – Text Message Service Privacy Policy
Numat respects your privacy and only uses information you provide through this service to transmit your mobile messages and to respond to you. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist Numat in the delivery of mobile messages. Numat will not share your mobile information with third parties or any affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numat will not share text messaging originator opt-in data or your consent with any third parties. Numat reserves the right to disclose only relevant information necessary to satisfy applicable laws, regulations and/or governmental requests deemed appropriate by Numat after careful review. This Text Message Service Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Text Message Service and is not intended to modify our general “Privacy Policy”, incorporated by reference above.
Costs of Text Messages
Numat will not charge you for the text messages you send and receive via this Text Message Service. However, carrier message and data rates may apply, so please note any wireless or other applicable provider charges that may be assessed by your carrier.
Frequency of Text Messages
This Text Messaging Service is for conversational person-to-person communication between you and employees of Numat. Numat may send you an initial message providing details about the Text Message Service. After that, the number of text messages you receive will vary depending on how you use Numat’ services and whether you take steps to generate more text messages from Numat (such as by sending a HELP request).
Opting Out of Text Messages
If you no longer want to receive text messages, you may reply to any text message with STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. As a person-to-person communication Text Message Service, opt-out requests are specific to each conversation between you and one of Numat’s employees and their associated phone number. After unsubscribing, Numat may send you confirmation of your opt-out via text message.
