Numat was featured by NHK WORLD JAPAN News in a special program celebrating the
2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry awarded to Dr. Susumu Kitagawa for his pioneering work
on MOFs (metal-organic frameworks). As part of this tribute, NHK highlighted Numat’s
advancements in MOF technology and its real-world impact.

During the visit, Numat CEO Ben Hernandez guided the NHK team through our lab and
showcased the SENTINEL® product platform, powered by MOFs to adsorb and destroy
harmful substances at the molecular level. Engineered for extreme environments,
SENTINEL® is setting a new standard for military personnel, law enforcement, and first
responders.

Dr. Omar Farha, Numat CSO, President, and co-founder, also shared how MOFs could
revolutionize not just national security, but industries far beyond.
